Moroccan Oranges
This is a super-refreshing dessert if you’ve just been at the gym or cycled back from the library in the rain (if you know where it is). The authentic recipe uses orange blossom water but a splash of orange juice will do.
Cost per student £0.40 (€0.45)

Ingredients (serves 1-2)
2 medium-large oranges
Pinch of cinnamon
A few raisins, almond flakes, mint leaf and a splash of orange juice optional

Equipment
Flat serving dish
Sharp knife
Chopping board

1. Peel the oranges by scoring them and remove as much white pith as possible.

2. Cut them into 1cm-thick slices crossways so the blade touches every segment.

3. Spread the orange slices in a serving dish and sprinkle with cinnamon and a splash of orange juice.
4. Place in fridge for at least an hour to chill. Scatter some almond flakes, raisins and mint over the top, all optional.
