French Omelette
It can take a lifetime to perfect the perfect omelette but takes only a minute to cook. Whisk hard and turn the heat up high for best results.

Ingredients (makes one omelette)
Two eggs
Salt and pepper
Butter or margarine
Equipment
Small frying pan
Mixing bowl
Spatula
Fork or whisk
1. Crack open two eggs into a bowl. Add a tiny pinch of salt and pepper and whisk them up with a fork…or preferably a whisk.
2. Add a knob of butter to a small frying pan on a high heat. Add the eggs and keep whisking for 10 seconds until the eggs start to solidify. Add a filling - ham or grated cheese - if desired.
3. Leave to cook and use a spatula to turn the omelette out of the pan after 145 seconds.
