2 large bananas

2 tablespoons of brown sugar

Equipment

Spatula
1. Heat a knob of butter in a frying pan on a medium-low heat. Once it has melted add the whole bananas.
2. After 2 minutes, turn over the banana so it is covered in butter and pour over the honey and sugar. Gently move the banana around the pan, turning it over once more.
3. After another 3 minutes the banana will be soft and the sugar-honey mixture will have started to crystallise.
4. Turn the banana over again and top with a pinch of cinnamon. Cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Serve banana with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Make sure it’s not your turn to wash up – the pan will be a sticky nightmare. Add some grated chocolate or almond chips if you want to feel special.
